We would like to invite you to participate in our 49th Annual Cornfest Parade on Sunday, September 13th, 2009!
The Liberty Bike Ride, Honoring our Servicemen, will roll down the parade route just before the parade begins. It is a large group of military veteran motorcycle riders giving tribute to our current and lost military men and women with decorated bikes.

There will be ribbons for novelties, horses, and tractors. Ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded for 1st – 3rd Place floats!
1st Place - $100.00
2nd Place - $75.00
3rd Place - $50.00
Parade Lineup
Lineup for units being judged will begin at 11:00 a.m. You MUST be lined up in your spot before 12:00 p.m. to be judged. Lineup for units not being judged will begin at 12:00 p.m. The entire parade route is approximately 3/4 of a mile. There will be two reviewing stands again this year in front of the Farmers Inn and the other on Madison Street. If you have any questions, please contact:

No units will be allowed to throw candy. We ask that a member of your team walk along and hand out candy. Neither the Cornfest Committee nor the Village of Darien will be held responsible for any injuries occurring as the result of units throwing candy.
