Parade Lineup

    Lineup for units being judged will begin at 11:00 a.m. You MUST be lined up in your spot before 12:00 p.m. to be judged. Lineup for units not being judged will begin at 12:00 p.m. The entire parade route is approximately 3/4 of a mile. There will be two reviewing stands again this year in front of the Farmers Inn and the other on Madison Street.

Parade line-ups will be sent out on Tuesday, September 7th. If there are any questions (including those on parade day), please visit the staging area at Darien Legion Hall.

 

There will be ribbons for novelties, horses, and tractors.
Ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded for 1st – 3rd Place floats!

    Our parade always starts with the Liberty Bike ride at 12:15PM with the parade rolling out of the start at 1:00PM sharp. The Liberty bike ride is a group of Military Veterans on motorcycles giving tribute to our current and lost Military men and women with decorated motorcycles. If you are a Veteran and would like to ride your motorcycle (all kinds welcome) in the Liberty Bike Ride, please fill out the form below.

No units will be allowed to throw candy. We ask that a member of your team walk along and hand out candy if you wish. Neither the Corn Fest Committee nor the Village of Darien will be held responsible for any injuries occurring as the result of units throwing candy.
